08/09/14

A free event series aimed at local authorities in the South West will examine how to deliver savings and improve local digital services through workshops, debate and examples of innovation; and identifying digital products that could be built nationally.

The Local Digital campaign's Local Digital South West series takes place in Bristol from 1 - 2 October. Participants will need to register in advance for the events, as follows:

- Wednesday 1 October (10.30 - 17.00)

Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) Local-Central Discovery Day to explore the impact of DVLA digital transformation on local authorities and their service users. The aim of the day will be to identify digital products that could be built nationally to save money and improve services. The event is aimed at local and central government heads of service, assistant directors and service managers, bailiffs, ICT and digital specialists and any public sector role that would benefit from better access to DVLA data.
