The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has set up a dynamic purchasing system framework for audio visual (AV) technical design and consultancy services.

It said the move comes from a growing demand in the public sector for workplace collaboration solutions as they have been shown to lead to improved productivity. Solutions can range from simple screens and soundbars to ones needing complex design and technology.

“This is where our DPS comes in,” CCS said. “It will help you find software agnostic solutions that will improve interoperability and collaboration, whatever your current IT application suite, ensuring a hassle free experience for all your users.”

It added that there has been an emphasis on interoperability so that any computer system and software will be able to work with the AV designs.

Currently there are seven suppliers on the framework – Cordless Consultants, Electrosonic, Internet Videocommunications, ITSL Audio Visual, Julian Roche Associates, Kromers and Radio Technical Services – with the potential for more to be added over its three-year lifespan.

Services available include design consultancy, AV integration, installation and warranty, and AV solution support.
