HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has retained Capgemini for its role in supporting its Enterprise Tax Management Platform (ETMP) and end of period statements (EOPS).

They have agreed on a new five-year contract valued at £402 million up to £574 million. This comes after the company was awarded the original contract in 2011 and won a new deal maintaining its role in early 2022.

The ETMP is the core host for the management and accounting processes of business taxes and duties, as well as HMRC’s corporate HR and finance systems. EOPS is the collection of services used to operationally support HMRC.

Both are supported the SAP ECC 6.0 platform.

The contract award notice states that ETMP is deemed critical national infrastructure and that Capgemini will provide run and change services including operation, service desk, change services, infrastructure support, maintenance and end to end change lifecycle.
