Nick from Bristol City Council and Hannah  from Brightly, aSiemens Company will discuss the values of asset management and having a central repository for data. Nick will walk through the benefits of various initiatives from LED replacements to interfacing with other smart providers like Gaist to provide a Safety view. Managing a system which is flexible and dynamic to ingest data, store data and run reports; Bristol have an ambition to measure carbon emissions through the data outputs.

Hannah will support Nick's conversation by describing how Bristol and other authorities use Brightly's software Confirm, plus a toolbox from Siemens, to act flexibly and sustainably – combining the real and digital world.

As part of our Connected Places strategy, we recognise the importance of social housing and aim to build sustainable, scalable digital solutions to support our residents. With high levels of digital exclusion amongst social housing residents, we want to remove barriers to digital access, and help enable our residents to benefit from our connected, inclusive future. This session will explain our strategy and how we are working to deliver this goal.
